**Job Title: Cycle Counter** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented cycle counters for our 1st shift (Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm) and 3rd shift (Sun-Thu 10pm-6:30am). **Responsibilities** + Performing cycle counts: Regularly counting specific inventory items according to a set schedule, using handheld scanners or other counting methods. + Investigating discrepancies: Researching the root cause of any discrepancies found between physical inventory and system records, including potential reasons for overages or shortages. + Data entry: Recording count results accurately into inventory management systems. + Reporting findings: Communicating discrepancies and potential issues to warehouse management or inventory control teams. + Maintaining inventory accuracy: Contributing to overall inventory accuracy by proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies. + Adhering to procedures: Following established cycle counting procedures and guidelines. + Location verification: Ensuring inventory is properly stored and located within the warehouse. **Essential Skills** + Attention to detail: Ability to accurately count and record inventory data. + Basic math skills: Comfortable with addition, subtraction, and calculations related to inventory quantities. + Computer proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for data entry. + Physical stamina: Able to walk and stand for extended periods while counting inventory. + Problem-solving skills: Identifying and investigating the root causes of discrepancies. + Organizational skills: Managing assigned cycle count schedules and prioritizing tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must have forklift operating experience. + Needs to have computer or WMS experience. + Must be able to lift 50 lbs. + Will get re-certified on the forklift and will take an 8-hour training. + RF scanner and cycle count experience is required. + Experience with outbound shipments preferred. **Why Work Here?** Our facility offers an onsite cafeteria with made-to-order breakfast and lunch, a climate-controlled environment, and unlimited advancement opportunities. Safety glasses will be provided. The warehouse is next to the production area, fostering a great team atmosphere. Additionally, our onsite restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RICHMOND, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
