What will you do?
The RTC operator is responsible for assisting the production supervisor and team lead with the overall refurbishment of all incoming and outgoing cylinders, including but not limited to testing cylinders, sanding cylinders, and painting cylinders.

Compensation: Starting pay at $17.00+ an hour and up based on experience

Key Responsibilities
Operate equipment to test, sand, band, and paint cylinders utilizing water-based paint and certifying cylinders when needed Ensures that processed products meet established regulatory, customer, and A-Gas internal requirements and specifications Follows quality protocol concerning required documentation of verifications and the documentation, notification, and handling of non-conformities Inspects cylinders for defects, dents, and cracks Understands the hazards of various gases; sizes, and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanksExperience, Knowledge, and Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent required DOT certification is required or must be obtained within 1 year Forklift, overhead crane, and clamp operation experience required or the ability to become certified within 60 days Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools Functional computer skills are required Process Technician Experience or associate degree preferredPhysical Demand Requirements:
Frequently pushes, pulls, moves, and/or lifts up to 50 pounds independently Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and some exposure to outdoor weather conditionsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
