Cytology Application Specialist

We are thrilled to hire multiple talented and skilled Cytology Applications Specialists to join our Diagnostics division! 
Candidates need to be local, or open to relocating to the East Coast, West Coast, or Midwest of the United States. 

Extensive travel of 90% is required domestically and potentially internationally, including evenings for customer service and training, and we will require you to have a solid understanding of GYN and non-GYN screening protocols, and expertise in all Hologic Cytology products for Cervical Cancer Screening.

As a CAS, you will be given the exciting opportunity to:

Utilize your cytologic expertise in GYN and non-GYN to train internal and external customers on Hologic Cytology products and ThinPrep morphology, ensuring high-quality service through extensive product knowledge and technical support.  In addition to conducting training on Hologic ThinPrep products, you will also be conducting certification, identifying publishing opportunities, supporting workshops, resolving customer issues, maintaining administrative standards, staying current in technical knowledge, and having strong teaching and presentation skills.  Provide the highest standard of quality service by delivering excellent product knowledge and education, while providing consistent support as the technical experts in their field. Work successfully under supervision and travel frequently to represent Hologic in the industry and marketplace Work with management to exercise discretion and judgement in his or her evaluation, assessment and training of each individual customer as needs dictate

What we are expecting from you:

Minimum of 3 years related experience in GYN or 1-year experience specific to GYN with a Master’s degree in scientific or relevant field CT (ASCP) certification mandatory and Bachelor’s degree preferred Demonstrates a professional demeanor appropriate for the health care industry. Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record to the Company, as well as a serviceable vehicle available for work. Valid Passport as applicable. Ability to stay current in technical knowledge to troubleshoot technical questions from customers and provide information back to the customer in a helpful, courteous, positive and professional manner. Strong attention to details and ability to bring customer situations to satisfactory completion in a timely manner. Working knowledge of anatomical pathology and cytology laboratory practices. Strong and effective teaching and presentation skills. Ability to organize, present and convey moderate and diverse problems or issues within and across functions.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $77,000 to $120,300 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
