Performs duties using established and approved protocol that requires a broad use of independent judgement and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. This includes accessioning and preparation of cytology specimens according to standard operating procedure, assisting in the collection of radiologic fine needle aspirations, screening and evaluating all gynecologic and medical cytology preparations for the presence of atypical or malignant cellular changes and providing the pathologist with her/his interpretation of these preparations. Assists in the data management of pathology computer files; participates in an on-going Quality Assurance program. Patients of all ages served.

Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks Monday-Friday 7:am- 4:30pm No nights, weekends, or holidays!Pay and Benefits:

Bachelor's Degree of Science or Arts ASCP-BOC certified within 6 months With first exam completed within 90 days Verification within six weeks of exam Recent experience in cytology and histology preferred. A valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required.
