Days: Monday - Friday

Hours:  8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Full-time: Benefit Eligible

In this role, you will:

Perform a vital part of the patient care process through examining prepared slides with the microscope to detect evidence of abnormalitiesUse diagnostic codes report negative cases and refers abnormal cases to the pathologists for reviewKeep records of work performed on daily basisWork in a fast-paced laboratory environmentChampion safety, compliance, and quality control

All you need is:

Graduation from an accredited school of cytology1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testingCytotechnologist certification by the American Society of Clinical PathologistsStrong reading, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
