IT Business Solutions Manager

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data & Analytics engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in driving our data projects and ensuring the smooth integration and operation of our data platforms.
If you have a good understanding in Microsoft Azure technologies, and possess solid experience with SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Data Lake and Power BI, we want you on our team!
As a member of our Geographically Distributed (Virtual) team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting a diverse portfolio of applications. You'll work with colleagues to standardize processes and drive efficiency.
Your role will involve developing, rolling out solutions, and supporting our Markets & Regions Data services area. Under the guidance of senior data engineers and Team Leads, you'll develop and maintain pipelines, ensuring third-party providers and external resources meet their commitments within budget.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage data and analytics projects within the IT department Design, implement, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, including SQL, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake and Power BI Analyze data sets to derive insights and support decision-making processes Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company standards and regulations Collaborate effectively with business partners to understand their requirements and provide suitable data solutions Development of relationships with customers to understand their needs and priorities, by collecting input from customers and stakeholders; identify and propose process / service / role design improvements geared towards simplification and service level enhancement Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data and analytics
Requirements:
College or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 3+ years’ experience in the IT discipline with 1+ of those years in IT Management of Business Solutions/ Application teams (including people management where relevant) Proven experience in Microsoft Azure technologies: SQL, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake and Power BI Strong understanding of budgeting and financial planning processes Analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with business partners Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Past exposure to Agile methodologies Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of machine learning and AI technologies is a big plus Fluent verbal and written English
