Digital and Technology powered products play a vital role in CBRE’s mission to create unmatched value for our clients. We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our growing team. This position will be a critical in supporting digital products and executing on plans with engineering. The candidate must have a passion for developing digital and technology powered products that blend seamlessly with customers’ workflows and provide the right information at the right time. The individual must possess technical expertise, project and stakeholder management experience and have strong working knowledge of engineering, agile software development and support processes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, driven to constantly look for ways to improve their products to optimize journeys, tackle pain points and drive up their KPIs. + Own a set of existing, proprietary Valuation & Advisory Services products, maintaining and enhancing these in line with business and user priorities across Pacific + Working with the Product Management team to balance business and customer needs. Ensures prioritization and trade-off discussions are customer-focused + Own the product roadmap and set sprint goals that are measurable and outcome-orientated + Working with local/offshore agile (Scrum) development teams, act as the Product Owner - write and groom user stories, maintain the product backlog and deliver measurable, incremental value to users and the business + Become a point of authority for a product; identify and measure its KPIs, constantly identify and deliver opportunities to improve and measure uplift + Engage with users to carry out research and testing to identify and interpret needs and pain points + Define Product learning agenda and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success/failure + Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision-making + Provide support to the rest of the Product Management team on global initiatives What you'll need + 2 - 5 years’ experience in a Product Manager/Owner position within a digital environment + Data-driven and proactive in identifying problems early and prioritising deliverables + Good combination of technical and business background, having worked closely with end users to gather requirements and with Engineering team to translate these into user stories that can be developed and tested against + Well-versed in Agile (Scrum) and Lean methodologies + Demonstrable experience managing stakeholders from a wide range of teams and levels of seniority + Understanding the principles and importance of a good user experience + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Bachelor's degree in a related field of work or equivalent work experience + Experience with building and deploying products across multiple localities, and in environments with users resistant to change + Experience working with UX and Design teams and passionate about creating user-centric experiences + Confidence to run workshops to share knowledge and experience with colleagues from Product team + Good technical understanding of digital platforms including analytics, databases, cloud technology + Experience of Commercial Real Estate + Self-motivated, smart and willingness to learn\Ability to build effective relationships across a range of business levels and communicate clearly + Ability to find simple solutions to complex problems with the user at the heart + Ability to make effective decisions, manage stakeholders and control a product’s direction whilst handling conflicting opinions + Able to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure against tight deadlines and targets + Eye for detail and a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve best possible results + Demonstrable passion for the discipline of Product Management We offer + A commitment to your career so you can grow and learn + A passionate team with whom to collaborate (including great business partners) + A competitive compensation package, complete with benefits + An open source culture/atmosphere that encourages learning and contributing back to the community.
