This role is onsite 5x a week in Redmond, WA and is unable to support C2C. Description - Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is a dev team that helps bridge the gaps between current tech that exists within the org. The team is building a lot of prototypes. Front and Back-end work, though this team is NOT held to a particular stack. - Key projects: This role will contribute to sustainable quality coming out of the data center. This candidate will be assisting with a migration of a Dynamics application into production. It is also helpful if this candidate has experience with telemetry, as this is a highly data driven team. - Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10 meetings that consists of a 15 min standup and 1 hour a day related to the project. The rest of the time will be focusing on the project. There are learning sessions that they can join if interested. Candidate Requirements - Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field. - Degrees or certifications required: Related to computer science field degree is required to be eligible for this role. Mechanical or electrical base level knowledge would be helpful. - Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would demonstrate expert level experience with Dynamics, and would contain diverse experience in different fields would be helpful. - Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on Azure DevOps ADO tasks measure completion and we burn down and quality of work through code reviews. Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience 1. Minimum 8 year experience with Dynamics CRM. 2. Minimum 5 years experience with telemetry to be able to connect the front end to the back end. Full Stack. Summary: The main function of this Software Engineer is to migrate an existing Dataverse application to Production for widespread co-authoring. This role will encompass end to end design development implementation testing and maintenance required for ongoing support. Job Responsibilities: - Lead the migration of a large and complex Dataverse-based Dynamics 365 application from a development environment to production ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. - Design and implement a robust architecture that supports co-authoring and collaboration by multiple users ensuring scalability and performance. - Develop and enforce best practices for maintainability security and recoverability of the application including disaster recovery plans and backup strategies. - Establish and maintain a comprehensive deployment pipeline that includes automated testing continuous integration and continuous deployment CI/CD to ensure high-quality releases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management to define and prioritize requirements and deliverables. - Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Implement and manage data governance policies to ensure data privacy compliance and security within the Dynamics 365 environment. - Develop and maintain detailed documentation for the application including architecture diagrams data flow diagrams and operational procedures. - Monitor and optimize the performance of the application identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues. - Lead the implementation of Direct Responsible Individual DRI practices ensuring clear ownership and accountability for all aspects of the application. - Design and implement robust logging monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues before they impact users. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement a comprehensive security strategy including access controls encryption and vulnerability management. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives identifying opportunities to enhance the application's functionality performance and user experience. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence. Qualifications: - 8-10 years experience required creating and managing large-scale Dynamics D365/Dataverse environments - A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures algorithms and software design - Large systems software design and development experience - Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems - Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution Skills dynamics, telemetry Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to take ownership of this project, and be not just an expert, but equivalent to a professor in knowledge of Dynamics 365. Should be passionate, collaborative, and a self-starter. Experience Level Expert Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
