Job Description: [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]: Avanade Inc. is seeking D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultants in New York, NY to be part of Avanade’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team. As part of this team, you will: collect information, analyze requirements, solve problems, and provide technical and operational support to Avanade’s clients who are implementing Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 ERP system (D365 F&O); lead the D365 F&O Finance workstream in our clients’ ERP implementations; match business processes to application requirements, transform business requirements into an implementation model, and document D365 F&O configurations in an application model; lead the prototyping and configuration of the applicable processes within D365 F&O to ensure that the ERP system works with respect to our clients’ needs; lead workshops with our clients, consultants, and client leaders to analyze and design solutions and handle gaps in D365 F&O detected during prototyping; work with the Avanade ERP technical team to help design, develop and test custom solutions that have been approved by our clients to address specific gaps within D365 F&O and in third-party applications and services; lead the creation or refinement of our clients’ business process hierarchies within their business process models so that functional and non-functional requirements are identified and linked; document settings in D365 F&O and prepare our clients to use their ERP system; and support our clients with the testing, acceptance, and deployment of their ERP system into day-to-day operational use. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic) is expected up to 80% of the time. Must live within reasonable commuting distance of New York, NY. Offered Salary: $152,859.00 to $152,859.00 per year. Benefits information available here: [1] https://www.avanade.com/en/career/benefits Basic Qualifications: The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field, plus at least three (3) years of experience as a D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant, or in a similar role in a technology or IT consulting environment. A qualified applicant’s experience must include: 3 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Dynamics Lifecycle Services, or Azure Services (i.e., Active Directory, Virtual Machines, or Web Services); 2 years of experience performing Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Services; 3 years of experience in the ERP finance business domain covering accounts receivables, accounts payables, and general accounting processes; 1 year of experience in the ERP operations workstreams with accountability for the ownership of both order-to-cash and procure to pay processes; 3 years of experience using Microsoft cloud tools to support D365 ERP implementations including Azure DevOps, Dynamics Lifecycle Services and Microsoft 365; 3 years of experience using foreign currency in D365 ERP implementations; 2 years of experience in global rollouts of D365 ERP implementations; and 3 years of experience developing financial reports within D365 Financial reporter.
