D365 F&O Technical Solution Consultant

Job Summary:

The Senior Technical Consultant (STC) provides expertise to our clients when performing technical activities. The Senior Technical Consultant’s primary focus is to collaborate with the Technical Architecture team to deliver quality solutions while adhering to predefined best practices. The STC is responsible for not only technical areas of the application, but relevant functional areas as well. The Senior Technical Consultant is the technical and the development resource who provides solutions that will support the client and the delivery team when filling gaps in the business application, business process, or specific functionality to ensure that the Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain effectively meets the agreed customer requirements.

Job Duties:

The Senior Technical Consultant will participate in and lead the following job duties as directed:

Analyze:  Coordinates with Functional team to ensure all enhancement requirements have been collected and to the appropriate level of detail Assists with the identification and documentation of data migration requirements Collaborates with the Functional team and Technical Solution Architect in reviewing “gap” requirements and their high-level design to ensure technical feasibility and approach Provides high-level as well as detailed estimates for proposed enhancements or integrations Understands key performance requirements Develop: Performs development independently while adhering to best practices Executes on environment management and deployment activities Writes thorough technical designs prior to starting development Helps develop the Go-Live strategy Validate:  Conducts unit testing to ensure an acceptable level of quality is achieved before delivering to the client Runs application traces and executes performance tuning tasks Deploy and Support:  Assists with the execution of the Go Live deployment plan Provides support for a period after Go-Live to ensure the new processes are functioning as expected and change management has occurred Fosters a positive demeanor, learning attitude and client service mentality with the team Travels up to 25%, as needed Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages project workstreams as directed Mentors and develops entry level consultants

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) or more years of technical D365 experience, required; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and five (5) or more years of technical D365 experience, required

Experience:

Four (4) or more years of technical D365 experience, required Some client facing best practice consulting experience, preferred

Software:

Experience with three (3) or more of the following development technologies, required:  X++ .NET/C# SSRS RESTful API Web Services  SQL JSON Any additional object-oriented language  Experience with one or more of the following implementation technologies, required  ADO/Visual Studio/LCS setup and configuration w/ F&O  ADO Pipelines and Build Runs (Software Deployable Packages) D365 F&O functional application knowledge

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.   California Range:  $127,000 - $164,000 Colorado Range:  $127,000 - $164,000 NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range:  $127,000 - $164,000 Washington Range:  $127,000 - $164,000
