Job Summary: This lovely young family with soon to be two children are looking for a nanny who loves babies and toddlers and has a muck in approach to their work. Their son will be going to nursery 3 full days a week and mum will be on maternity leave. The family do employ a cleaner who takes care of the deep cleaning but while the focus will always be the children the family are looking for a nanny who is happy to cook dinner for the family, they will all eat the same, empty the dishwasher etc in addition to normal nursery duties. The nanny we placed with this family is still in touch with them and she will tell you that you could not find a better family to work for in London. They family also have an adorable dog ( poodle mix) who would love some attention too
Job specification:
• Shared care of both children while mum is on maternity leave
• Planning activities and arranging play dates for the children that will stimulate their development
• Working in a team with mum while she is on maternity leave – providing structure and routine for both children
• All normal housekeeping duties related to the children including laundry, keeping their play areas tidy and organized.
• Help with nursery runs
• Preparing dinner for the children and enough for the parents – healthy nutritious meals
• Empty/load the dishwasher
• Walk the dog
• Good communication skills, able to work alongside mum, someone who is happy in their job, loving, patient and kind.
Candidate specification:
• It is essential you have experience working with two young children and are confident with all the milestones – baby experience is a must
• Good English skills are important, and the family would like a polish or Russian speaker
• Someone who is organised, and happy to pitch in with what is needed to help mum especially with the new-born – The family will always want the children to come first
• Happy to work in a home with a dog, friendly but needs love too
Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid check required at offer stage
