EHS Specialist/Dangerous Goods Agent

Job Description

The Dangerous Goods Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant transportation, storage, and handling of hazardous materials for global products. This role involves regulatory compliance, risk assessment, training, and continuous improvement in the management of dangerous goods across various regions.

Hard SkillsIn-depth knowledge of dangerous goods regulations (DOT, IATA, IMDG, OSHA, etc.)Experience with risk assessment and hazard classificationProficiency in preparing and reviewing regulatory documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to conduct detailed risk assessments and develop mitigation strategiesSoft SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment

The role involves close collaboration with product managers, operations teams, logistics partners, and vendors to ensure safe and compliant transportation. The specialist will also conduct audits, inspections, and training programs to maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
