DAPER Facilities Worker + Job Number: 24767 + Functional Area: Facilities Operations + Department: DAPER Facilities + School Area: Dean for Student Life + Employment Type: Full-Time + Employment Category: Non-Exempt + Visa Sponsorship Available: No + Schedule: see requirements section below Email a Friend Save Save Apply Now Posting Description DAPER FACILITIES WORKER, DAPER Facilities, to service indoor and outdoor needs including custodial services such as trash removal and floor scrubbing; outdoor surface maintenance such as mowing, fertilization, aeration, irrigation, seeding and lining of fields; Ice Rink set-up and maintenance including Zamboni operation; field layout for competitions and set up of goals, flags, hurdles, etc.; indoor court surface maintenance including painting ice, and oil mopping athletic floors; set up for Athletic and non-Athletic events that are hosted by the DAPER facility including Public Address systems, bleacher/chair and table arrangements; and maintenance of equipment to include small power tools, hurdles, goals, nets, etc. Other duties as required. Job Requirements REQUIRED: Class D, MA Driver's license; 1C, 2B Hoisting License; physical ability to do the work including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and shoveling snow; willing to work in a team environment and to learn to operate all required equipment including paint machines, Zamboni, moving equipment, etc.; customer service awareness; and basic computer competency.
