Responsibilities

Independently work to develop, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components for our specialized construction equipment. Act as a technical lead in the business unit. Provide innovative solutions for the junior members of the DAQ team. Assist with technical R&D ideas for the business unit. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components. Participate in scheduling meetings. Responsible for ensuring company has equipment needed for current and upcoming work. Monitor and maintain tracking for all equipment, including scheduling maintenance and submitting requests for new equipment when required. Evaluate costs and time associated with various equipment. Oversee troubleshooting, testing various designed systems, building electrical control panels, and assembling electrical components on heavy equipment/drill rigs and pumps. Oversee assembly and installation of equipment at the shop facility and at various projects/jobsites. Troubleshoot by reading electrical signals via software interfacing with Keller’s data acquisition systems. Repair and troubleshoot electrical components and equipment as needed. Read, interpret, and analyze technical data from PLC’s. Efficiently troubleshoot instrumentation, control systems, and read electrical schematics. Responsible for research and development in the branch or business unit. Manage DAQ hardware for the branch and business unit. Ensure compliance with all company and OSHA safety requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 

 

Required Related Occupation Experience: 

With a Master’s degree: Two (2) years of related experience, which must include equipment related experience, hands on electrical experience and experience with sensors or instrumentation.With a Bachelor’s degree: Five (5) years of related experience, which must include equipment related experience, hands on electrical experience and experience with sensors or instrumentation.
