Topcon Healthcare is looking to offer an internship program from June 2, 2025, until August 14, 2025.  This is a paid program located in the Oakland NJ office.  The hours for this program are Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm. As a Data Admin Intern at Topcon Healthcare Inc., you will play a key role in supporting our data management efforts by cleaning up customer data in Salesforce. You will work closely with the data management team to identify inconsistencies, duplicate entries, and incomplete records, ensuring that our Salesforce database is up-to-date and accurate. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data administration and CRM management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and update customer data in Salesforce by identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, duplicates, and incomplete records.

Perform data quality checks and ensure that all customer information is accurate, complete, and correctly formatted.

Assist with data entry and migration tasks, ensuring that new data is correctly entered into Salesforce.

Work with team members to develop and implement strategies for maintaining data quality and improving database integrity.

Collaborate with other departments to identify data discrepancies and resolve issues related to customer records.

Help maintain documentation and reports on data cleanup activities, including findings and progress.

Assist in managing and updating customer segmentation, contact information, and other relevant data fields in Salesforce.

Monitor data health and make recommendations for improving data quality processes in Salesforce.

 

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy and integrity.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.

Basic knowledge of data management concepts, including data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about data management and Salesforce.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with Salesforce or another CRM system.

Familiarity with data cleaning tools or scripts (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).

Experience with data quality best practices or data governance.
 

Base Pay:

Expected Base Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly based on degree level.

 

The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed.  Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
