Yes County Albany Street Address 15 Computer Drive West City Albany State NY Zip Code 12205 Duties Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:•Perform data extraction, aggregation, data quality checks, summarize results and create reports.•Collaborate with staff to develop business intelligence solutions using data-oriented programming languages (R, Python), RDBMS (Oracle, MS-SQL), SQL, statistical/mathematical computations, and data visualization tools. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in data or computer science, informatics, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, and two (2) years* of experience in data visualization, and statistical models and data mining tools.*Substitution: A master’s degree in the above fields may substitute for one (1) year of specialized experience. A Ph.D. in the above fields may substitute for two (2) years of specialized experience. Preferred Qualifications:•Bachelor’s or Master's degree in science in data analytics OR 2 years’ experience as data scientist or data analyst. •Experience with text analytics and/or mining.Please be advised that the New York State Insurance Fund does not offer sponsorship for employment visas to employees or potential employees.
