Target Range:

$25.00 /Hr. - $31.00 /Hr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

We are seeking a Data & Business Analyst which is cross-functional that is on a specific team to provide reporting and analytical needs, and general business analyst work. Primary focus will be in Data analysis with some business analyst/operational needs.

This position will be on-site and located at our HQ in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

Support data architecture management, data investigation, and data integrityConstruct, maintain, and analyze various reports including those identifying concentrations, exceptions, and other data useful to assess credit riskTranslate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards created from one or more data sourcesApply advanced modeling, data mining, machine learning and/or statistical techniques to data and dashboards to generate actionable insights enabling informed decision-making for optimized business and operational performanceDevelop dashboard tool for senior management reporting and risk managementSupport system-to-system management, data integration, data investigation, and data integrity initiativesCreate mock-ups of reporting products, scorecards, dashboards, etc. to provide visualization to the end userConduct root cause analysis using knowledge of application, interfaces, and technology for defect solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for new initiatives, enhancements, and system integrations.Present findings, recommendations, and project updates in a clear and compelling format to facilitate decision-making

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree2+ years' of prior experience in related field or experience1+ year's in SQL and Tableau data visualization1+ year's in Data AnalyticsWorking Knowledge of Tableau SoftwareWorking knowledge of SQLUnderstanding of databases and data warehouse knowledgeExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to simplify complex conceptsSuperior problem-solving skills, multi-tasking skills, self-motivation and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlinesDemonstrated ability to learn, acquire and utilize new technologies, disciplines and frameworks as neededStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyExceptional customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skillsStrong track record of setting and meeting delivery commitments
