Description:
The Application Analyst position’s primary responsibility is to capture reporting requirements from End Users for our College’s ERP (and related systems), and to create and maintain operational reports satisfying these requirements against those data sources in support of the College’s day-to-day business needs. As the knowledge of this data increases and time permits, this person will begin to take on additional, entry-level responsibilities performed by the Application Analyst position such as creating database Views, writing / updating FormFusion templates, write / maintain data integration pulls, etc. In addition, this position may participate in, and assist with, the planning and coordination of the implementation and maintenance of college-wide administrative computer systems and application software used in support of the College’s business. This may include items such as defining requirements, developing and testing systems, solving problems, preparing related documentation, and acting as a technical liaison to ITS and other college personnel. Finally, other duties not listed may be assigned.
Skills Required:
TECHNICAL / POSITION SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
1. Utilizing solid critical thinking skills; assist with analyzing and defining system specifications.
2. Proficient in desktop productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Office)
3. SQL
4. Enterprise report writing.
5. Relational database knowledge
6. Argos development experience.
Skills Preferred:
1. Oracle database experience.
2. Banner ERP table-level knowledge.
Experience Required:
3 years relevant work experience in an Information Technology related-field.
Education Required: Associate Degree. (Any degree.)
