Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst III to support effective decision-making through economic, financial, and market analysis of critical issues. This role involves capacity planning, price and cost modeling, and returns on investment analysis. The successful candidate will also support capacity forecasting, budgeting, and reporting efforts for operating expenses, capital, and resource allocation.
ResponsibilitiesSupport effective decision-making through economic, financial, and market analysis of critical issues including capacity planning, price and cost modeling, and returns on investment.Support capacity forecasting, budgeting, and reporting efforts for operating expenses, capital, and resource allocation.Design and coordinate the development of systems and tools to keep pace with the group's growing and rapidly changing businesses.Review dashboard requests with engineers and compare against data available in QuickSight and Redshift.Create SQL queries and compile data in QuickSight and Redshift to support production.Scrub all data sources and perform general checks on data accuracy.Dive into different data streams from enterprise systems and resolve conflicts in reporting sources.Build dashboards and analytic tools to support strategic decision-making.Create consolidated analytics tools to alleviate the burden on engineers.Required SkillsFluent in SQL.Experience with AWS Redshift.Experience with QuickSight.2-3+ years of experience in data analysis.Strong analytic skills and demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solving.Experience with SAP.Additional Skills & QualificationsUndergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.Graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) and 7 years of capacity experience preferred.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail.Ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment.Direct experience in operations or capacity planning is a plus.Work Environment
This is an onsite position requiring attendance 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9 AM to 5 PM. The role requires navigating a dynamic environment with program-level changes and data integrity issues. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents due to applicable export control laws and regulations.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00
