Description We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. They will use a large data set to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. Responsibilities: + To provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary. + Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design. + Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets relating to the employer’s business. + Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. + Using Power BI, SQL, and other data dictionary tools. + Developing protocols for data analysis within the company, alongside the IT department. + Using advanced computerized models to extract the data needed. + Removing corrupted data. + Performing and interpreting data studies and product experiments concerning new data sources or new uses for existing data sources. + Working with the management team to outline the company’s data strategy and making recommendations about the infrastructure required. Requirements + Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst. + Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting, and MS SQL. + Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI). + Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. + Strong experience in generating and presenting reports. + Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings. + BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
