Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Data Analysts in support of our nationally recognized, Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Spring, Texas.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst with extensive expertise in building dashboards and analyzing data, specifically in the context of Security Operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server, a solid understanding of data lakes, and exposure to tools like Databricks. This role requires the ability to work with APIs to extract data from various sources and automate workflows using Power Automate or similar tools. The Data Analyst will play a critical role in designing and supporting dashboards that provide key insights into the organization's security posture, empowering decision-making at both operational and executive levels.
Responsibilities
* Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to visualize and track security metrics and KPIs
* Data Integration: Work with APIs to extract data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness
* Data Lake Management: Collaborate with the team to structure and optimize data lakes to store and retrieve large datasets efficiently
* SQL Server Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to process, analyze, and transform data for dashboard use
* Security Metrics: Develop dashboards tailored to Security Operations, including incident trends, threat intelligence, and compliance metrics
* Automation: Use Power Automate or similar tools to streamline data workflows and automate reporting processes
* Collaboration: Work closely with Security Operations, IT, and executive stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights
* Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of dashboard structures, data sources, and APIs used for integration
