Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Analyst. Responsibilities: * Responsible for Data Discovery, Data Sourcing Analysis, Data Mapping Rules for complex initiatives involving new data technologies/platforms * Collaborate with DBAs, architects, and subject area owners to understand the data assets * Gather and incorporate feedback from Product Owners, Data Architects, and Data Engineers to aid in the design of the product * Guide Product Owner and Data Engineers in the best approach to assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements * Ensure that Database Design and Modeling standards are in alignment with Industry and Enterprise Modeling standard processes * Write and maintain business rules using SQL logic * Facilitate timely Data Sharing & Data Security approvals to enable key data programs * Build & maintain knowledgebase of assigned data subject areas, serving as technology data experts for those subject areas * Help drive data governance subject area & tool adoption, consistently across all squads within product area * Facilitate path to resolution of long-standing Data Quality issues by bringing together critical business and technology partners
