About the job

The Data Analyst manages data analysis and usage requirements and focuses on data- and integration-intensive initiatives. Primary responsibilities include working with understanding data analysis and integration requirements and guiding solution design and architecture to meet these needs, in addition to core business analyst responsibilities.

Main responsibilities:

Work with business stakeholders (Global and Country teams) to understand requirements for data use, analysis, and qualityManage requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation processes to capture business and end user needs. Prioritize needs within and across projects based on business impactSupport business case creationCommunicate solution tradeoffs to business stakeholders to frame and influence project decisionsEngage delivery teams to communicate solution vision and prioritiesPromote architectural standards and consistencyPromote usability standards and design solutions with a high-quality, effortless UXProactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends to guide business partners on emerging opportunitiesAssess the risks of solution options and develop plans to mitigate themSupport enterprise digital strategy and organizational change managementDefine, set up, and execute test cases to validate that the solution meets functional and non-functional requirementsEnsure that data is managed / analyzed in compliance with applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirementsIdentify and aggregate data from internal and external sourcesGuide solution design to meet data and integration requirementsIdentify new opportunities to leverage data and to integrate data or applications to enhance business valueCoordinate with data owners to ensure data accessibility and qualityContribute to management of central data stores and metadataProvide consultative support and advice on technology projects led by business partnersCoach employees to make use of technology and information

About you
 

Experience:

Close to 5 years of experience as Data Analyst (performed data manipulation, data analysis, master data management) Experience in a healthcare company is a strong plus 

Technical skills:

Expert in Data manipulation techniques (esp. querying tables with SQL) Manage requirements analysis and documentation processes (Data Models, Process Flow Documents, Confluence Functional Document) to capture business and end user needsStrong capacity to develop consistent, clear analysis and report potential issues Data quality audit techniquesGood knowledge of cloud computing and data storagesExcel, PowerPoint, Word Project management & support: JIRA projects & service desk, Confluence, Teams 

Soft skills:

Pragmatic and capable of solving complex issues  Ability to understand business needs Main Digital point of contact for Countries during and after Country rolloutsShare and elicit these processes with Data Engineers and Data Viz ExpertsDefine, set up, and execute test cases to validate that the solution meets functional and non-functional requirementsGood communication Service-oriented, flexible, positive team player Self-motivated, takes initiative Rigorous, attention to detail to map data systems Curious to understand what is behind each data field 

Education:

Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics 

Languages:

Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written).
