Data Analyst
Job Description In this role, you will generate ad-hoc and routine metrics reports and dashboards, including those related to work order activity, productivity, and O&M and Capital budgets. You will design and analyze systems, processes, forms, and work measurements to improve methods, simplify work efficiency, enhance manual processing, or adapt to new technology. Additionally, you will research and prepare written recommendations for changes or improvements in Design operations based on operational problems such as management reporting, staffing patterns, workload changes, and contractor performance. Monthly performance benchmarking analysis to KPIs will be performed, and you will provide leadership with projected future workload balance and FTE needs based on historical trends and data analysis. You will review output reports, recommend appropriate follow-up actions related to Design Operations, analyze patterns and trends, and prepare reports and graphs depicting the results of these analyses. Meeting with leadership and department personnel to gather business requirements for requested reports will be part of your responsibilities, as well as providing training and guidance to business area personnel on understanding metrics and incorporating them into their day-to-day work. You will work closely with Technical Teams to obtain reports requiring technical escalation and to implement system enhancements requiring technical escalation. Skills and Requirements - Accounting Knowledge: Understand computerized accounting principles and practices. - Familiar with work management software and data reporting systems (preferably Maximo or SAP).
