Key Responsibilities: + Data Analysis and Insights: + Query and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. + Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings to stakeholders. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions. + Database Management and Optimization: + Design, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. + Monitor database performance and implement improvements to enhance query speed and overall system performance. + Assist in the maintenance, integrity, and accuracy of databases. + Data Validation and Cleaning: + Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies in the company’s databases. + Ensure data quality through rigorous validation checks and adherence to data governance standards. + Collaboration and Communication: + Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to address key business needs. + Present analysis results in a clear and concise manner through visualizations, written reports, or verbal communication. + Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding data-related tools and insights. + Process Improvement: + Proactively identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to streamline data workflows. + Stay updated on the latest SQL and data analytics best practices, tools, and technologies. Requirements + Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, or similar role. + Proficient in SQL, including complex joins, stored procedures, and query optimization. + Strong knowledge of relational database systems (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL). + Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. + Familiarity with data cleaning, profiling, and validation methods. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. + Strong communication skills to effectively present complex data-driven findings. Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. + Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. + Experience working with big data platforms and/or cloud-based data solutions. + Understanding of Python, R, or other programming languages frequently used in data analysis.
