**Job Title: Data Analyst** **Organization: Division of Behavioral Health (DBH)** **Employment Type: Contract** **Location: South Dakota (Remote with travel required)** **Responsibilities:** + Lead data collection and evaluation efforts for the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) Partnerships for Success (PFS) grant. + Implement processes for collecting and analyzing performance measures outlined in the grant. + Manage statewide data infrastructure and reporting, ensuring high-quality insights. + Collaborate on the development of the Statewide Community Health Assessment Framework. + Design a logic model to structure evaluation frameworks and methodologies. + Collect and report regional and community-level data to assess progress on prevention priorities. + Provide training to providers on data collection techniques, informed consent, participant protection, and software use for surveys or feedback mechanisms. + 2. Crisis Response & 988 Improvement Evaluation (additional focus through September 2026) + Support evaluation efforts for the Rural Crisis Response and 988 Improvement grants. + Complete required federal reports related to grant-funded crisis response programs. + Coordinate and oversee data collection activities to track program effectiveness. + Conduct project evaluations, identifying key strengths, gaps, and areas for improvement. + Develop an evaluation plan to assess the effectiveness of crisis response systems. **Qualifications:** + Experience in data analysis, program evaluation, and grant reporting, preferably in public health or behavioral health settings. + Proficiency in data management tools, statistical analysis, and performance measurement. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. + Ability to train and support program providers on data-related best practices. + Familiarity with federal grant reporting requirements is a plus. + This position offers an opportunity to shape data-driven decision-making within behavioral health programs and contribute to statewide improvements in prevention and crisis response services.
