WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
 This position is based out of our Bain office in Mexico and is a vital part of the Performance Improvement Centre of Expertise (PI CoE) of the Bain Capability Network. The PI CoE collaborates with case teams globally to provide expertise in cost reduction, optimization, and performance improvement. The team leverages tools such as cost diagnostics, procurement analytics, zero-based budgeting, and supply chain optimizations to generate impactful insights. They utilize advanced data analysis and dynamic visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to showcase results and drive business success. The PI CoE also develops intellectual property to support Bain’s performance improvement initiatives worldwide.

 

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
 As an Analyst in the PI CoE, you will play an essential role in supporting case teams through detailed data analysis, problem-solving, and the development of impactful recommendations. You will contribute to creating lasting value for clients while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Understand the work plan, execute assigned work streams, and develop well-founded hypotheses.Conduct zero-defect analyses under tight timelines, ensuring key questions are addressed effectively.Apply analytical tools to perform financial statement analysis, benchmarking, and more.Conduct industry and business research across geographies to gather actionable insights.Adapt to client needs and proactively resolve issues, flagging roadblocks when necessary.Structure and communicate insights from your work stream clearly and professionally.Collaborate with the team to develop realistic and actionable solutions.Deliver professional presentations to team leaders, managers, and stakeholders.Seek and provide meaningful feedback to foster continuous improvement

 

ABOUT YOU

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, commerce, business, or economics with a strong academic record.0–2 years of experience in a similar analytical or consulting role (preferred).Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint (required).Familiarity with visualization or analytical tools like Alteryx or Tableau (a plus).Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.Capable of handling multiple tasks and delivering clear, professional presentations to stakeholders.
