Overview TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a data analyst for a large commercial energy efficiency program to serve from our Kansas City or St. Louis, Missouri office. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing metrics and report building on all programs sponsored by the local utility. This role will also manage multiple financial items in this contract from the issuance of incentive checks to the creation of monthly invoices. Must have the knowledge and expertise to create, edit, and modify excel spreadsheets with the ability to analyze and create accurate invoices and reports. The Data Analyst position will require frequent client interactions and the ability to explain complex items in an easy-to-understand manner. The core objectives of this position will be to provide reports and analytics in a clear, accurate, and timely manner to the team and client. This position will include, but not limited to, the following tasks: Responsibilities Create, design, implement, and maintain recurring reports or data uploads Identify and implement additional reports through coordination with team members Analyze recurring reports to identify opportunities as well as provide ad hoc analysis Incentive payment processing Researching and analyzing data Creating forecasting models and accruals Regular communication with customers and utility clients These tasks will be accomplished through effective utilization of Excel and PowerPoint as well as effective communication across internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of experience performing data analysis 2+ years creating using tools to create reports, dashboards, and data exploration High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Professional communication skills Creative thinking and out of the box solution mindset Desired Skills Experience using Tableau or similar reporting tools Experience with energy efficiency program metrics Project Management Principles (PMP) certification or progress toward certification Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
