**What You'll Do**
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Decision Analytics team. In this role, you’ll look to deliver actionable insights for our distribution teams with data. Whether through data aggregation, report development or statistical analysis, our team strives to find new ways to solve the problems our partners face. Sales teams work fast, and we look to meet them where they are by finding new and creative ways to make their job easier using data.
You'll be responsible for conducting general analytics and statistical modeling on data sets across different business areas. This includes data aggregation, insight development, data analysis, and communicating findings. Identifying patterns and trends in the data to address business questions and support improved decision-making.
+ Beginner/Intermediate Data Preparation: Incorporates standard processes in data preparation, UX, and data analytics to deliver highly informative and actionable insights to our business partners. Partner with data engineers to define & build data pipelines.
+ Beginner/Intermediate Modeling Skills: Performs statistical modeling on existing data sets. Develop analytic models that support business initiatives. Effectively apply advanced tools/technologies to mine data sources and deliver relevant information in an easily understandable format. Familiar with common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression)
+ Examines and identifies data patterns and trends to help answer business questions, provide insights, and improve data-driven decision making.
+ Beginner/Intermediate Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Collaborating with our business partners to use the data available to investigate issues facing the business, without always having a well-defined hypothesis. Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions.
+ Beginner/Intermediate Visualization Skills: Capable of clearly communicating findings to assist collaborators in addressing key queries. Create compelling written, numeric and visual summaries.

**Who You Are**
+ Bachelor Degree in a Business or Technical field or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years of related analytics, consulting, project management preferred
+ Business intelligence applications and/or cloud services (e.g., Alteryx, Domo, Looker, PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, SiSense).
+ No/Low code ETL and Orchestration platforms such as AWS Glue DataBrew or SAS.
+ Data querying, transformation, and processing languages such as SQL, Python, Power BI DAX/M Query, or SAS.
+ Operational, enterprise, and analytical relational/non-relational data stores such as PaaS cloud technologies, SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2.
+ Knowledge of cloud platforms and surrounding ecosystems (AWS, Azure).

**Salary Range Information**
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
**Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)**
$67500 - $121200 / year
**Time Off Program**
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

**Work Environments**
This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
