Data Analyst Intern
**POSITION SUMMARY:** HUB International is seeking to add a Data Analyst Intern in our Cincinnati office! This internship will provide experience conducting in-depth analysis on medical and pharmacy claims and utilization to identify trends and key indicators that ultimately result in actionable plans for HUB’s clients. We offer: + **Great work/life balance, because that’s important for all of us!** + **Focus on creating a meaningful environment through employee engagement events** + **The ability to be a part of a motivated, winning team with the opportunity to learn from colleagues who are amongst the top talent in the industry!** + **Growth potential - HUB is constantly growing and so can your career!** + **A rewarding career that helps local businesses in the community** + **Strong community support and involvement through HUB Gives** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Reporting Responsibilities: + Complete monthly, quarterly and annual reports + Align to and execute client timelines + Learn and be fully functional with all carrier reporting websites + Create, analyze and make recommendations on created reports, working in conjunction with Data Analysts and Financial Associates + Peer review other Data Analysts’ completed reports + Bid and Renewal Preparation: + Identify options and requests from carriers + Assist in carrier communications during the renewal process + Develop bid sheets, working in conjunction with Client Specialists and Benefits Consultants + Prepare preliminary renewal projections and proposals + Adhere to company standards and timelines for proposal creation + Deliver accuracy and accountability in alignment with HUB corporate fundamentals + Aim for 100% accuracy of completed materials + Utilize the peer review process to catch errors + Input errors into tracking systems to ensure duplicate errors do not occur + Manage and resolve internal and external stakeholder requests timely and accurately The essential duties contained in this job description reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions of this job, the level of knowledge and skill typically required and the scope of responsibility.
