We are a small multi-functional team that drives day-to-day operations to optimize product training and support for customers.As a Jr Data Analyst Intern, you will get hands-on experience converting raw data into valuable insights by designing visualizations and dashboards that help the team make informed business decisions. But we won't stop there! Learn more about the team, meet our leaders, and hear from Splunk’s customer success leaders at splunk.com/careers/customer-success.What you'll get to doAnalyze education and survey data to identify patterns, evaluate feedback, and find opportunities for improvement.Perform ETL processes while ensuring high data accuracy and completeness.Use data tools for data wrangling and visualization such as Excel, SQL, Python, & Tableau.Collect and refine requirements from EDU teams to improve existing Education Ops dashboards.Learn the basic functionalities of our Learning Management System with a special focus on data management, data governance and the built-in reporting tool.Support the teams within Education by fulfilling ad-hoc data requests, building automation processes, and creating detailed documentation.Collaborate with Splunkers in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and 1:1s. We're excited to hear your ideas!Must-have QualificationsActively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Programming, Information Technology, Data Science or related field, and strong record of academic achievementAt least one semester/quarter remaining to complete after the internshipAvailable to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeksNice-to-have QualificationsWe’ve taken special care to separate the must-have qualifications from the nice-to-haves. “Nice-to-have” means just that: Nice. Base Pay is based on a candidate completing 2 years of university or the academic equivalent

Base Pay

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay: $38 per hour

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay: $35 per hour

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay: $31 per hour

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills, year in school and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for benefits.
