As a Data Analyst you will continue the tradition of data-driven product innovation by working closely with engineers and product managers on existing and nascent products for the mobile economy and helping other parts of Button’s business understand and leverage Button’s data. You will work with our data-driven team to evangelize mathematical approaches to measurement and analysis and make our product and organization stronger in the process.
This position is open to all applicants; the ideal candidate will live in the New York City area and will be open to spending approximately 2-3 days in office per week.
As a Data Analyst You Will
Collect and analyze data insights on trends and activity seen across Button’s platform, across which billions of dollars of commerce data has flowed Build weekly data digests to share with the company and externally, in marketing and customer conversations. Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business impact Strong analytical and quantitative skills Experience working with large datasets and using data visualization tools such as Looker Proficiency with SQL required; BigQuery experience preferred Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workButton provides employees with a RemotePlus workplace, which blends “work from anywhere” with in-person collaboration. Button has a “hub” workspace in New York City as well as team members distributed across the United States and beyond. Button’s total compensation package includes a base salary competitive with what is offered by similar companies in major US markets. The salary range for this role is expected to be between $119,000 - $154,000 (offered salary is based on a number of factors including skills and experience relative to the job description listed above).
In addition, Button provides employees with a 401(k) plan and automatically contributes 3% of an employee’s salary annually.
