Grow your career as a Data Analyst/Project Manager with an innovative global bank in New York, NY. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Will require partnership across all Global Markets businesses and will include traders, CAOs and Business Management, Finance, and a wide variety of technology teams spanning Trading, Finance, and Risk systems. It will also involve frequent interaction with Internal Audit. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.
Contract Duration: 7+ Months
**Required Skills & Experience**
+ Must have minimum of 10 years relevant experience
+ Needs strong Data Analysis skills
+ Candidates must have demonstrable 15+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst including Business Process Mapping, Control Requirements, data analysis, business requirement documentation, implementation including user acceptance testing and development and adoption.
+ Ability to establish strong relationships to deliver a common vision and goal is a key skill.
+ Strong financial, analytical, strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
+ Assist with the definition and implementation of consistent and integrated approaches to price risk use cases across Business, VCG, Finance, and Risk.
+ Manage and liaise with key technology and testing teams throughout implementation to ensure successfully delivery.
+ Ability to interact with senior management and stakeholders lead working groups / focus session, understanding requirements, developing solutions and presenting results.
+ Excellent communication and influencing skills are vital.
+ Ability to manage a project plan, RAID logs, focus groups, and communicate effectively raising risks / issues with senior stakeholders.
+ Should be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and have robust program management skills, including TOM, Current state and gap analysis etc.
+ Attention to detail, including ability to analyze day on day changes and perform trend analysis
+ Proactive engagement
+ Knowledge of strategic planning, especially as it relates to deadline management and relevant engagement with supporting stakeholders
**Desired Skills & Experience**
+ SME knowledge in either Product Control, Risk, Operations or within Internal Audit, concerning the F2B trade flow and controls for a large and complex global trading business and associated controls.
+ Specific subject matter expertise in global markets traded products together with associated book management, business hierarchy rollup and reporting practices.
**What You Will Be Doing**
+ Draw on experience and will require the ability to clearly articulate principles and methodologies to a variety of audiences including senior internal stakeholders and to find creative solutions to issues as they arise.
+ Will be a self-starter, will be the lead business analyst and is able to work autonomously, bringing forward ideas which will help the company to apply industry leading practice with regards to Price Risk. Expected to be organized, define requirements, benefits, and targets as well as track progress and provide clear updates to their manager and other senior stakeholders.
+ Assist with leading innovation and therefore the successful candidate must possess resilience, tenacity, and have a desire and passion to succeed in a fast moving, dynamic, and forward-looking environment.Will assist with the definition and measurement of success metrics agreed with stakeholders and monitor change progress.
+ Will assist with the definition of 1LoD controls to improve data quality and other monitoring controls. This will include considerations of governance and BAU monitoring activities.
