Credence is seeking a Data Analytics Manager in support of the National Guard Bureau’s Plans and Requirements Directorate (NGB/A5) at Joint Base Andrews, MD.
NGB/A5 provides support in order to improve combat capability of the Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) as total force partners as it integrates new capabilities to meet Air Force requirements. The directorate is a small total force partner, leading an effort to rapidly and affordably improve combat capability. NGB/A5 embeds liaisons with acquisition program offices to enable accomplishment of the NGB mission.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Provide day-to-day support for Power BI and other Data Analytic activities including assigning and managing workspaces, data cleaning and data examining.Develop and/or employ tools and methods to track progress for senior management throughout the life cycle of the program.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand NGB/A5 business requirements and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights within Power Bi or other prescribed Data Analytics Software.Produce analytical reports and communicates the technical data requirements to data provides. Develop and implement dynamic data visualizations and interactive reporting to provide meaningful insight from data (such as dashboards, scorecards, and graphs).Convert business requirements into technical specifications and produce a timeline to accomplish the task.Perform data analytics functions to include the application development of analytics, measures, and metrics to help foster performance towards agency targets, objectives, and goals to inform senior leader decisions.Provide decision support on best practices to improve predictive analytics, data sampling, data warehousing processes, and other uses of advanced analytics and information technology. Evaluate and interpret data extracts and reports from various systems assessing relevant data sources' validity and reliability to meet project needs to aid stakeholders in understanding and utilizing analytical reports.Train end-users on how to use the dashboards and reports effectively.Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure.Design, develop, test, deploy Power BI scripts, and perform detailed analytics.Collaborate with NGB/A5 Staff for process improvement. Make recommendations on best practices to improve predictive analytics, data sampling, data warehousing processes, and other uses of advanced analytics and information technology.
