The Business Services and Outsourcing team are essential to meeting our clients' evolving requirements. As well as delivering long-term, sustainable value to businesses by providing a range of solutions such as accounting, payroll and compliance services, they also play a key role in tying together many of our services across BDO both domestically and internationally. By building deep and meaningful relationships with a range of clients from ambitious entrepreneurial SMEs to large multi-national groups, our BS&O team don’t just advise on their specific business challenges, they open doors for other teams to provide our firm’s wider service offering. Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an outstanding individual to join our team as a Data Analytics Senior Manager in Business Services & Outsourcing (BSO).

In this exciting role, you will manage multiple assignments of high complexity and variety in line with BDO’s approach – although as a firm with culture at its core we expect you will challenge the norm and help us redefine our approach and seek continuous improvement. You will work closely with Directors and Partners, build amazing client relationships, assist with strategy and drive marketing and business development.

Our analytics focus will be to drive world class management information and insight to drive business growth to help our clients succeed. You will support Partners, Directors and Managers to create a more a “Data Analytics driven” practice, building a Data Analytics team and delivering advisory assignments for some of our larger and more complex engagements in the ambitious entrepreneurial and mid market space.  

Other key elements of the role will be to input to potential and existing client conversations, including  presenting where appropriate, and to train/support more junior members of the staff to increase adoption of analytics.

You'll be someone with:

Relevant experience of working with multiple clients at a managerial level.ACA / ACCA qualified beneficial, but not essential.Experience of designing, building and delivery of data analytics related capabilities.Strong skills and expertise with core Microsoft Analytics tools – SQL server and Power BI, including SQL programming and building Power BI data visualisation dashboardsExperience with other Analytics technologies (eg Python, IDEA, ACL, Alteryx, Tableau)
