DATA ANALYTICS SPECIALIST
Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a DATA ANALYTICS SPECIALIST, Position Description Number T5878000 and is part of the CO USPFO, National Guard. The purpose of this position is to be responsible for administering and coordinating a complex data analytics program across the Army and Air National Guard within the state with external recipients, ARNG units, ANG wings and Joint Forces Headquarters staff offices. Responsibilities Provides authoritative technical advice on all aspects of data analytics. Utilizes expertise in interpreting, developing, and applying appropriate data to generate usable products that enable leaders to make informed decisions about the enterprise related to business processes, management, and efficiencies. Counsels and advises others including Federal staff, and recipients to accomplish the program goals. Performs qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of National Guard programs (examples include Comptroller, Logistics, Real Property, Maintenance, and Human Resources). Incumbent serves as the USPFO's principal authority and subject matter expert in all Data Analytics. May have limited leader responsibilities. Distributes and balances workload among employees. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Experience and knowledge will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. 2. Experience working with or knowledge of analysis, trend study, design and construction of business visualization solutions with a strong understanding of, how to produce images that communicate relationships among graphic marks and data values, logical and meaningful data flow, gathering of requirements, and the effective visualization of insights sing different data visualization software such as but not limited to Power BI and Google Charts. 2. Experience working with or knowledge and skill with a wide range of business aspects of financial management, human resources, grant/cooperative agreement, and other mechanisms including regulations, principles of cost planning, earned value management, negotiation techniques, labor-rate analysis; pre-award, award, and post-award requirements; administration and termination; price/cost techniques; data analytics, and forecasting problems. 3. Experience or knowledge of data analytics principles and policies; DoD and NGB fiscal policies and directives. Education Education cannot be substituted for Specialized Experience for this position.
