Kforce has a client in Redmond, VA that is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer. Responsibilities: * Data and Analytics Engineer will design and build Microsoft SQL Server in datacenters and Azure * Design and implement intelligent, predictable, reliable, scalable, cost-efficient, and easy-to-use platforms and frameworks for Data Science Machine Learning (DSML), Enterprise Data Lake/Warehouse (EDL/EDW), Master Data Management (MDM) functions * Design, implement, maintain cloud platform infrastructure * Evaluate and automate the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environment * Implement Azure cloud capabilities * Implement, setup, configure, monitor, and maintain cloud-based Data & Analytics platforms * As a Data and Analytics Engineer, you will make recommendations and execute cost saving strategies for Cloud services * Streamline development and operation processes via continuous integration, deployment, automated testing while leveraging SRE principles * Drive efficient resolution for system outages as well as performance and functional shortcomings. Engage in critical support situations and effectively, efficiently, and quickly drive successful resolution * Design and implement solutions that leverage cloud services such as serverless computing, containers, and data lakes
