A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Data Intelligence and Analysis - Client Services team provides internal clients a series of organisational technology capabilities that include business intelligence, data management, data warehouse, and data assurance. You’ll help with projects that involve information technology strategy and infrastructure, enterprise architecture, enterprise applications, large scale programme and portfolio management, information technology security, data analytics, computer forensics, and emerging technologies like cloud, mobility and social networking.

Who we’re looking for summary

Integrated Services delivers professional and joined up services to enable the firm’s growth; connecting people, streamlining processes and using technology to simplify the user experience and make it easier for all our people.
This is a role within our Integrated Services Data & Insights team.
We’re looking for an Associate/Analyst to support data lifecycle activities (access,
governance, retention, issue management, data quality and validations, and reporting & insights). This is an exciting time to join an evolving team to drive data literacy and data analytics transformation. This role will give the successful candidate a great foundation in Data and Insights.

Describe the role in more detail.

This role will support the whole Data & Insights team by completing a variety of activities across the team. Typical activities are listed here:

● Participation in daily standups to flag issues, blockers and plan work
● Completing a variety of activities across reporting, systems access, data steward, operational and continuous improvement and insights projects,
using workflow management tools and ServiceNow

● Maintaining the team’s service catalogue and process reviews
● Maintaining and supporting the suite of existing PowerBI solutions
● Monitoring tools such as Alteryx Server, reporting bot that supports our
processes etc and remediating failures
● Reviewing and managing updates to process documentation
● Monitoring the team’s workload/capacity tracker, and other operational
activities
● Supporting the team/perform quality checks to ensure projects are ready for
sign-off process
● Reviewing weekly Workday news and assigning tasks to team for review
● Maintain/update team operational documentation
● Applying an agile mindset, demonstrating flexibility to quickly shift priorities
of focus to support the extended Data & Insights team
● Supporting project activities

The ideal candidate will have:

● Good prioritisation skills
● Organisational/project coordination skills
● Workday, or similar, knowledge (reporting, security and processes)
● Interest in data management and quality
● Data manipulation
● Passion for change and innovation
● Passionate about technology and taking personal responsibility to stay on top
of new developments
● Alteryx and PowerBI Foundation/Intermediate level
