What You Will Do:

We are actively searching for a highly qualified and motivated Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate is responsible for the design, implementation, oversight, and optimization of a data warehouse that interfaces with distributed enterprise applications with external and internal interfaces utilizing Microservices and business automation. In addition to the creation of custom software and data models within an Agile & DevSecOps environment, the candidate should exhibit excellent problem solving and data analysis skills as well as a proven ability to work independently.

Design, Develop and Implement data solutions to efficiently store and retrieve secure company information to solve business problemsWork with product management to translate requirements into technical design and provide estimatesDevelop high quality, shippable/release products in short incrementsWork closely with engineering and QA to manage and improve the data pipelineWork closely with security to meet required security controlsLead a small team of engineers either formally or informallyAnalyze structural requirements for new software and applicationsMigrate data from legacy systems to new solutionsDesign conceptual and logical data modelsImprove system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elementsOptimize new and current database systemsAnalyze data from disparate sources and develop a vision for combining those sources into a more cohesive, easier-to-use frameworkDesign and build data warehouse structures (databases, SSAS cubes, etc)It is essential that this candidate have exceptional communication skills and be flexible with technology, environment, and priorities.

What You Will Need:

US Citizenship is requiredBachelor's degree or associated years experienceMinimum TEN (10) years proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, or similar roleMinimum of FIVE (5) IT engineering / software workMinimum of FIVE (5) years data modeling experienceExpertise with data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Power PI, Tableau, R)Expertise with data warehouse tools (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc)Expertise with both OLTP and OLAP style systemsProficient working with Scrum based development teamsProficiency working with distributed, modular system architectures (i.e. Microservices, SOA)Strong understanding of network and environment stack and best practices for enterprise application and data securityBash and SSH experience on RHELExtensive experience utilizing continuous integration and deployment toolsExtensive experience working with relational and NoSQL data storesKnowledge of normal forms, Star-Schema and other data warehousing modeling techniquesIn-depth understanding of database structure principlesExperience gathering and analyzing system requirementsKnowledge of data mining and segmentation techniquesKnowledge of effective data management principles

What Would Be Nice To Have:

The annual salary range for this position is $132,600.00-$198,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
