3Ci is looking for a Data Architect. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for the overall governance of data including definition, organization, compliance, availability, storage, and disposition of data. The continual development of the data warehouse will be under the direction of this position. You will be responsible for the overall management of the data team consisting of six direct reports. The data team is responsible for client reporting, internal reporting, and data interfaces. As the Data Architect, you will collaborate with the Emerging Technology team to ensure data is readily available for ingestion into Generative AI models along with proper tagging. This is a direct hire position.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role General Requirements Familiarity with various operating systems, databases, and programming languages Strong understanding of data architecture principles Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Proficiency in project management and software development methodologies

Essential Functions

90 days - evaluate current state 180 days - make recommendations for data architecture 1 year - implement recommendations Develop and lead data governance function Own and advance the data warehouse Manage a team of six data engineers and report writers Ensure compliance with data security requirements Collaborate with Operations to ensure data flows are properly configured Design and manage the data reporting platforms Develop and implement strategic data plans in alignment with company goals Design, create, and manage the organization's data architecture layout Create rules and procedures for data sharing Oversee the integration of data management technologies Assess system performance and make recommendations for improvements Secure database systems by developing policies, procedures, and controls Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments Perform other tasks as required
