Data Architect
CTG is seeking to fill a Data Architect position. **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 3 years **Duties:** + Design and implement comprehensive data architecture solutions to meet the strategic needs of the organization. + Develop and maintain data management systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure. + Provide expert consulting services to clients, helping them design and implement effective data architecture solutions. + Analyze clients’ data requirements and recommend appropriate data architecture strategies. + Lead client meetings and presentations to explain data architecture concepts and solutions clearly and compellingly. + Conduct data architecture assessments and audits for clients, providing actionable insights and recommendations. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. + Assist in establishing data governance protocols and best practices with the Solution Leader and Solution Architect(s). + Mentor and guide junior data architects and engineers. + Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data solutions. + Ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility across all data systems. + Perform other responsibilities as assigned. **Skills:** + Direct and deep experience and expertise in building data management, data governance, and analytic programs within organizations. + Proficiency in SQL, Python, big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). + Knowledge of data governance and best practices. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and collaboration skills. + Collaborative, effective time, and multitask management while working with peers and leadership. **Experience:** + 5-10 years of experience in solution design, development, and management. + 3+ years developing analytics and reporting solutions in two or more domains, preferably in Energy, Oil and Gas, Healthcare, and Logistics. + 5+ years architecting data and analytics platforms for building business-facing analytics, dashboards, and automated reporting. + Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams. + Experience in a consulting environment is preferred. + Ability to manage multiple client projects and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field. + Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $175,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
