The Data Architect is responsible for designing and ensuring the supportability of data infrastructure that extracts and organizes data for authorized use. This role emphasizes driving best practices and standardization across diverse data platforms and tools. The Data Architect will collaborate with database administration, data engineering, data analysts, and cybersecurity teams to ensure the optimal and coherent functioning of our data ecosystems. Additionally, this role involves working closely with business partners to understand their data needs and business processes, enabling the design of simple and scalable solutions that meet organizational requirements.
Data Architect Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering, with a focus on Azure Cloud technologies.5+ years of experience in SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, PySpark, ETL/ELT processes, and designing cloud-native data pipelines5+ years of experience working with a variety of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), database technologies, and tools3+ years of experience implementing Data warehouses with Kimball Methodology3+ years of experience with cloud data architecture, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Data Lakehouse, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Synapse Analytics3+ years of experience developing and enforcing strategic systems architecture plans and design patterns. 1+ years working with data governance, compliance standards, and ensuring data privacy in accordance with legal and industry regulations.1+ year of hands-on experience with enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping tools, master data management, data quality, data catalogs, and data profiling tools.Demonstrated project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience.
