Description We are in search of an experienced Data Architect to join our team based in Chicago, Illinois. As a Data Architect, you will be integral in handling data from various sources, structuring it appropriately, and utilizing it for financial reporting. You will be heavily involved in the creation of BI dashboards and the setup of data structures. This role is also pivotal in applying business logic based on the required financial reports. Responsibilities: • Building and maintaining BI dashboards for efficient data visualization and reporting. • Utilizing Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks for data management. • Applying business logic to create necessary financial reports, including profit and loss statements. • Managing data from diverse sources and ensuring its proper structure and organization for effective use. • Employing Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting. • Setting up and managing data structures to ensure accurate and efficient data use. • Leveraging Data Warehousing and Data Lakes for data storage and management. • Using Microsoft Fabric and Data Fabric for data processing and integration. • Ensuring the integrity and security of the data for financial reports. • Collaborating with team members to ensure a consolidated view of data and reports. Requirements • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks is essential • Must have a strong understanding of profit and loss concepts • Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Power BI tools is required • Knowledge of Data Warehousing principles and practices is a must • Familiarity with Data Fabric and Microsoft Fabric is desirable • Experience with Data Lakes is crucial • Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data in understandable terms • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other departments.
