Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture & Design:

Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance data architectures that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning workloads.Design data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehousing solutions using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, RDS, Athena, Glue, and Lambda.Define data models, schemas, and metadata management strategies to optimize data flows and storage.

Cloud Data Engineering (AWS & Databricks):

Build, monitor, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and AWS Glue, EMR.Implement batch and streaming data processes utilizing Databricks notebooks, Spark, and other big data frameworks.Ensure data quality, governance, and security through the use of best practices and AWS-native security tools like IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail.Optimize Databricks clusters and workflows for cost efficiency and performance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Perform data analysis to derive actionable insights that support business decisions and KPIs.Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight.Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, software engineers, and business units to align data solutions with organizational goals.Communicate data architecture decisions, strategies, and progress with stakeholders at all levels.

Governance and Compliance:

Implement data governance frameworks and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and SOX compliance.Develop policies and procedures for data access, security, and retention.
