The role

This Data Engineer will be working on ingesting data from multiple sources into Data Lake using ETL tools, API calls, Python scripts etc. He/She will be working on supporting/enhancement of existing data pipelines. This person is responsible for maintaining coding standards & documentation of completed work. He/She will be monitoring the production tasks and make sure the issues are fixed on time. Candidate will be working closely with Devops. & Data Teams.

What you’ll bring

Must have 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or a related role.
Strong Experience With ETL Processes and tools(Ex: Pentaho, SSIS, Informatica, HVR etc.)
Experience with data pipeline automation and orchestration tools.(ex: Airflow)
Good understanding of concepts related to data architecture and modeling.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, SQL.
Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
Experience with monitoring/logging solutions.
Experience in AWS cloud.
Experience with modern data development practices (e.g., data lakes, real-time streaming, etc.).
Always ready to learn more and adopt new cutting-edge technology with the right value proposition.
Being a fast learner, adaptable to changing landscapes, and most importantly, a strong believer in being hands-on.

A MUST: Linux, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, EC2, Airflow, Spark.
Concepts Required: Database, Data Warehouse, Big Data, Data Governance, Data Security. Experience in GIT, CI/CD.
