Job Family Definition:

The Cloud Consultant guides and supports HPE's clients through their digital transformation, and thinks strategically and long-term about the complex business and technical needs of customers.
Deeply evaluates customer applications for the strategic and functional transition from internal systems to external virtual cloud-based platforms. Acts as a trusted value advisor to HPE's customers in the development of their cloud computing strategy, providing recommendations for cloud migrations, technical implementation roadmaps, and adoption plans.
Designs state-of-the-art public, multi, and hybrid cloud technology solutions, achieving scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
Builds influential relationships with executives including the C-level when necessary. Proactively defines an effective engagement model with the customer's key influencers and decision-makers.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

What you’ll do:

Description of Role:

              Candidate will understand the Network requirement of the customer requirement and design & architect the target network infrastructure in the Hybrid & Multi-cloud environment (private and/or public) which may consists of Switches, Routers and collaborate with the cross-functional teams to integrate the other components like Compute, Storage and backup solution to the network. Candidate will document the High & Low- level network design before the deployment and prepare the As-built document post deployment. Candidate has to contribute in the pursuit activities like understanding the customer requirement and provide the appropriate solution to the customer. He/She has to identify the improvement areas like automation and orchestration whenever applicable. He/She can be involved in the assessment of the Data Center and provide the recommendation after performing the gap analysis as per the best practice.

Job Description

Discover, assess, and advise on the existing data centre and/or campus network infrastructure.

Design, configure, implement routing and switching infrastructure in large enterprise data centre.

Prepare plan for migration and deployment.

Prepare design documents (HLD/LLD).

Requirement

[Mandatory] Hands-on experience in Advisory, Design, Implementation, Configuration, Assessment on Data Center Networking Environment.

[Mandatory – Min. 3-4 Years’ experience] Consulting and advisory experience in Aruba AOS/Aruba AOS-CX, HPE Flexfabric (or H3C Comware), Juniper Data Center infrastructure involving the below technologies.

Switching (Link-aggregation, VLAN, IP, Stacking, VSX/VSF, MLAG)

Routing (BGP, OSPF, static)

VxLAN-EVPN

Spine-Leaf architecture

[Mandatory] Valid minimum Professional level certification (e.g., CCNP or equivalent or higher)

[Mandatory] Should understand all the data centre components (e.g., Virtualization, Compute, Storage, backup etc.)

[Preferrable] Automation (Python, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, Pearl etc.)

[Preferrable] Good understanding of Cloud technology (private and/or public) from integration standpoint.

Good communication & documentation skills.

What you need to bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or Equivalent).

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience.

Candidates from the managed services or support background will not be accepted.

Candidates should have demonstrated his/her advisory skills in Professional Services which involves Design/ deployment.

Candidates with DevOps skills will be preferred.

Candidates must have design skills on Aruba and Juniper. Only Cisco background will not be accepted. If the candidates have Cisco knowledge in addition to Aruba/Juniper then it can be accepted.
