Job Description:
The Level 3 TAC engineer role requires supporting Aruba products as per the entitlement. It involves understanding the customer environment, capturing logs, and troubleshooting to achieve the resolution or provide the Root Cause of the incident.
The Level 3 TAC engineer is expected to work across different shifts in a dynamic 24x7 work environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide HPE Aruba customers & Engineers troubleshooting & support in the areas of HPE Aruba Networking and related areas.Provide leadership in technical problem management and the resolution of all issues, working closely with Global Enterprise Customers, HPE Aruba remote, and field support staff.Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and communicate these to engineers, customers, and/or relevant managers.Identify and contribute to projects to improve product support, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency.Be aware of, and contribute to the improvement of, team performance as measured in the team Business Fundamentals Tables (BFT).Technical writing skills will be required to publish Issue resolution documents.Required to communicate effectively with Technical and Non-Technical stakeholders and should have the ability to drive the conversation/discussion.Must be able to interact with colleagues from different countries and backgrounds (own team, members of L1 and L2, other support functions, and Engineering teams).Education:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Experience:
10+ Years’ experience in the Networking field with a minimum of 3 years supporting Data Center Technologies.
Skills:
Spanish and English at advanced level requiredPortuguese is nice to have.Data Networking technologies including Routing, Switching, and Network architecture and management.Working knowledge and understanding of Spine and Leaf Topologies.Working knowledge and understanding of 3-layer architecture (Access, Distribution, and Core) switching.Knowledge of networking equipment’s hardware and architecture.Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of several products in more than one functional area involving usage, configuration, and interaction with other products.Affinity with Remote Resolve support processes.Should know about Data Center Technologies, i.e., VXLAN, EVPN, VPNV4, other VPN technologies, etc.Should be good at security and authentication protocols like IEEE 802.1x and MAC.Good to have knowledge of REST, NAE, and Python.Prior knowledge of Aruba OS, Aruba OS-CX or Comware will be added advantage.Basic knowledge of WLAN technology (802.11 Standards, Controller, and APs) is preferred.Certifications: 1. Cisco CCIE – DC is not a must but preferred.Aruba ACSP certification will have added advantage.
Should have basic technical knowledge of Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.Additional Skills:
