Johnson Service Group is seeking a Data Center IT Hardware Administrator  to manage and maintain a data center infrastructure for a leading client. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware components, ensuring system reliability, and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate will have experience with servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and data center best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and storage devices. Perform routine hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime. Monitor system performance, ensuring optimal efficiency and security. Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and support enterprise applications. Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of hardware assets. Assist in planning and executing hardware upgrades and migrations. Ensure compliance with data center security policies and industry standards. Provide technical support and respond to hardware-related incidents. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in IT hardware administration, preferably in a data center environment. Proficiency in server hardware, network equipment, and storage solutions. Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call as needed. Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Server+ Cisco CCNA Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator AWS Certified SysOps Administrator #D800
