Responsible for end-to-end delivery of enterprise data center IT infrastructure service tasks, including proficient use of corporate service management applications and effective collaboration and request fulfilment skills

Installation and removal of premise and computer room IT hardware and network cablingAction Change and Incident management support requests: Respond to network problems, identify root cause and effect corrective actions while effectively collaborating with peers, customers and leadershipAction Smart Hands (IT hardware) repair and upgrade tasks: PSUs, DIMMs, CPUs, storage devices, motherboards, NICs, base configuration deployment, etc.Execute infrastructure delivery and support tasks without interrupting active data processingUtilize corporate workflow management toolsDeliver services within deadlines and SLAsInteract with leadership, peers and customers: Assess and determine IT service request infrastructure and delivery requirements. Identify and escalate problems; collaboratively develop solutions; and successfully deliver new infrastructureManage projects and schedules in support of workflow deliveryManage and maintain raised floor infrastructure databasesSupport leaders in developing and implementing policies, standards and procedures

Requirements

3rd shift PositionThree years demonstrated work experience in mission critical environmentsAdvanced knowledge of data center computer room infrastructureFundamental working knowledge of EIA/TIA cabling standards and best practicesAbility to accurately perform network cable testing and certificationPhysically capable of performing the duties of the position, including safely bending, squatting, stretching and lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to safely lift items weighing 100+ pounds utilizing material handling equipmentProven analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsGeneral working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite desktop applicantsHighly motivated, self-directed and detail-oriented individualAbility and willingness to acquire new and evolving job-related skillsStrong oral and written communicationsCompTIA A+ and Server+ training and credentials is a plusCisco Certified Networking training and credentials is a plusStructured Cabling experience and BICSI Installer credentials is a plus.
