Data Center M&E Technician

**Job Summary:**
Manpower is seeking a skilled Data Center M&E Tech for the day shift to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a data center environment. This role requires advanced technical skills to oversee both electrical and mechanical systems, including Universal Power Supply (UPS) systems, generators, chillers, electrical distribution, HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and CMMS work dispatching. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ **Daily Inspections:** Perform routine site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) systems and technical equipment.
+ **Maintenance & Repairs:** Execute preventative maintenance and corrective repairs following established processes and procedures while adhering to Environment, Health, and Safety policies (including PPE requirements).
+ **Vendor Coordination:** Oversee and support third-party vendors to ensure they comply with internal processes, procedures, and regulatory standards; accompany vendors on site visits as needed.
+ **Documentation:** Assist in the creation and maintenance of work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and ensure that CERM documents and logbooks are updated.
+ **Training Compliance:** Complete all required training to fully support job responsibilities.
_Note: This role does not have formal supervisory responsibilities but may involve providing technical guidance and informal training to peers._
**Qualifications:**
**Experience & Education:**
+ **Education:** Completed Trade School Program required; a High School Diploma or GED is also required.
+ **Experience:** 4-5 years in a similar role within data center, industrial, or maintenance environments.
**Technical & Software Skills:**
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in maintenance.
+ Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
+ Solid electrical skills with experience in electrical system maintenance.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic application software.
**Certifications/Licenses:**
+ Certification as an Electrician or HVAC Technician is preferred.
**Core Competencies:**
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate technical information.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge with fellow technicians.
**Additional Desired Skills:**
+ Multi-skilled in both Electrical and HVAC systems.
+ Experience in mentoring or guiding junior technicians is a plus.
Pay $34.48 per hour
